As we approach the end of the first quarter, it’s more important than ever that you be intentional and goal-oriented in your business. Springtime is exciting and fun, but I think one of the best things about the spring is that it’s a wonderful time to meet business goals and make big profits.

Major retailers make sure to take advantage of the season with new items, big promotions and aggressive advertising. As entrepreneurs, it’s important we also make big moves so we start the new season strong and head into the new season with major successes.

A 4-month bucket list is totally inspiring.

What do you want to complete? What will make you feel totally accomplished? What do you want to see, do and have by the end of the year? It’s not too late for you to accomplish major advancement before the end of the year!

Make a list of your top 10-20 goals for the first half of the year. Here are a few ideas to get you started:

  1. Increase revenues for the year by 50%.

  2. Land a major contract.

  3. Launch a new product.

  4. Sell products from a new outlet.

  5. Get major media coverage or features for your brand.

If you really want to see big results, take your top 3-5 goals and make a Goal Card for each one. When you invoke the power of visualization and affirmation for your goals, you’ll see truly remarkable results. Looking back over the last month, I’m wowed that every single major accomplishment for me and my businesses started with a written goal and a Goal Card. The process really does work.

Launch your business into a successful new season.

When you start the year off strong, you go into the beginning of the next season with a huge advantage. Rather than trying to get motivated to start working on your business, you’ll be riding a wave of momentum from all the amazing things you accomplished in the last quarter.

My team and I always hit the ground running in spring because we’ve been pressing and seeing big success throughout the holiday season. Rather than trying to figure out what we’re going to do to grow the business, we’re already busy doing it! This keeps us super motivated and excited as we plan our strategy for the upcoming year.
